ABOUT US
Our Story
At Paws of Hope Foundation, we believe that every dog deserves more than just survival. Every dog deserves a safe place to sleep, a full bowl of food, proper care, and the chance to experience a life filled with kindness.
Our journey was built around a simple question: What happens to the dogs who have nobody left to turn to?
Across the United States, countless dogs are abandoned, neglected, or left without the care they need. Some arrive frightened and hungry. Others have spent years without knowing what a safe home feels like. Many simply need someone to give them a chance.
We decided that we wanted to be that someone.

152 Dogs. 152 Stories.
That number represents much more than 152 animals. It represents 152 individual lives, each with its own personality, history, fears, and hopes. Some are young, some are old, some are still learning to trust people again, and others are simply waiting patiently for the loving future they deserve.
Every single one of them depends on us.
Every morning, our team has to make sure there is enough food for every dog. Every day requires clean water, safe shelter, cleaning, supplies, transportation, and ongoing care. Some dogs also require veterinary treatment, medication, rehabilitation, or additional attention because of what they experienced before coming into our care.
With 152 dogs depending on us, the costs add up quickly. Food alone is an ongoing expense that never stops. Every day means another 152 bowls that need to be filled. And tomorrow, we have to do it all again.
A full bowl tells a dog something important:
You are safe. You are cared for. You have not been forgotten.
Why Food Matters
It is easy to think of a meal as something small. For a rescued dog, it can mean much more. A nutritious meal can help a weak dog regain strength. It can give a frightened animal a sense of routine. It can provide comfort to a dog that has spent too long wondering when its next meal would come.
Through our virtual meal program, supporters can help us cover the ongoing cost of feeding the dogs in our care. Your contribution helps us purchase food and maintain the supplies necessary to keep our rescue animals fed.
You may see a simple contribution on your screen. We see a real bowl being filled. We see a hungry dog eating. We see an animal gaining strength. And we see another day where that dog knows it is not alone.
The Cost of Caring
Taking care of 152 dogs is a responsibility we never take lightly. The food bill is only one part of what it takes to operate a rescue. There are veterinary expenses, medications, bedding, cleaning supplies, water, shelter maintenance, transportation, and countless everyday necessities.
Some days are easier than others. Some days bring a new dog who desperately needs our help. Some days bring unexpected veterinary expenses. But no matter how difficult the day becomes, the dogs still need us. They still need to eat. They still need care. They still need someone to show up. And we do.
More Than a Number
When we say that there are 152 dogs in our care as of August 25, 2026, we don't want you to see a number. We want you to imagine 152 faces. 152 wagging tails. 152 personalities. 152 dogs waiting for someone to believe that their lives are worth fighting for.
Some of them may have once been someone's beloved companion. Others may never have known what it means to have a family. But regardless of where they came from, we believe their future should be better than their past. That belief is what keeps us going.
The People Behind Paws of Hope
Paws of Hope Foundation is made possible by people who choose to care. Every supporter becomes part of something bigger. A small contribution becomes part of a larger food order. A larger food order becomes hundreds of meals. Those meals help keep our dogs healthy and strong. And those healthy dogs have a better chance of finding the future they deserve.
This is how change happens. Not always through one enormous gesture, but through thousands of small acts of kindness coming together.
Every Meal Makes a Difference
We created our virtual meal program because we wanted people to have a simple way to make a direct difference. You can choose an amount that feels right for you, and your contribution helps support the cost of feeding the dogs in our care.
Whether it is $1, $5, $10, $25, or $100, every contribution becomes part of the larger effort required to care for our rescue animals. Because when 152 dogs depend on you, every meal matters. Every bag of food matters. Every act of kindness matters.
Our Promise
We cannot promise that we will be able to save every dog. But we can promise that the dogs who are in our care will not be forgotten. We will continue to provide them with food. We will continue to care for them. We will continue to give them a safe place. And we will continue working toward the day when every one of them has the opportunity to find a loving home.
Until that day comes, they have us. And with the support of our community, we can continue being there for them.
As of August 25, 2026, 152 dogs are counting on Paws of Hope Foundation. They are counting on us for their next meal. They are counting on us for their care. And ultimately, they are counting on people like you.
Because sometimes hope doesn't begin with something complicated. Sometimes it begins with a full bowl. Sometimes it begins with one person deciding to help. And sometimes, one small act of kindness can become the reason a dog gets another chance at life.
Paws of Hope Foundation
Helping dogs. Changing lives. Giving hope.
Because every dog deserves a full bowl, a safe place, and a second chance. 🐾
